Tryouts Registration Open for ’25/’26 Season

2025/2026 Season Tryouts

Tryouts will be held on Sunday, September 14th at Sandpoint Middle School.

Girls tryout times: 

-3rd and 4th Grade- GIRLS 1:00pm-2:00pm 
-5th and 6th Grade- GIRLS 2:00pm-3:00pm 
-7th and 8th Grade- GIRLS 3:00pm-4:00pm 

Boys tryout times:

3rd and 4th Grade-BOYS 4:00pm-5:00pm
5th and 6th Grade-BOYS 5:00pm-6:00pm
7th and 8th Grade- BOYS 6:00pm-7:00pm

Coming September 14th! 2025 – 2026 Tryouts

Tryouts for the 25/26 season will be held on Sunday, September 14th. All tryouts (boy/girls) will be held at Sandpoint Middle School. Please see below for age group times:

5th and 6th Grade- GIRLS 2:00pm-3:00pm BOYS 5:00pm-6:00pm
7th and 8th Grade- GIRLS 3:00pm-4:00pm BOYS 6:00pm-7:00pm

No fees are due at tryouts.

Sandpoint Future has basketball teams for boys and girls from 3rd through 8th grade. All athletes wanting to participate in Sandpoint Future are required to tryout at the start of each season.

COVID-19 Health Protocols

  • All athletes and coaches will be required to use hand sanitizer before and after play.
  • All basketballs will be sanitized prior to use.
  • Athletes and coaches will not be permitted to use common area drinking fountains.  Athletes will need to bring their own water bottles.
  • Coaches are expected to encourage social distancing of 6’ or more when appropriate.
  • Coaches are encouraged to wear masks or facial coverings during practices and other team gatherings.
  • If an athlete or coach tests positive for Covid-19, the Sandpoint Future Board will communicate with the Panhandle Health District and comply with their procedures and direction.
