March 20-22, 2026 – The 6th Grade Future boys team went 6-0 to claim the Championship title in the School Silver division at the Washington State Basketball Championship Tournament at The Podium in Spokane, WA. This brings their season record to 43-5 and is now their 8th tournament win.
The 13th Annual State Championship is a qualifier-based tournament with two divisions (Club and School) and features teams from all corners of Washington. After hosting 700+ teams (grades 4-8) in 2025, even more squads turned out in 2026 to compete. Hosted at The Podium, a 9-court downtown Spokane venue, an outstanding State tournament facility.

March 13-15, 2026 – The 4th Grade Future girls team went 4-1 to claim 2nd place in the School Silver division at the Washington State Basketball Championship Tournament at The Podium in Spokane, WA.

Saturday, March 7, 2026 – The 6th Grade Future boys team went 3-0 to claim the Championship title at the Lilac City 1Day Showdown at The Warehouse Athletic Facility in Spokane, WA. This brings their season record to 37-5 and is now their 7th tournament win.

Feb 21-22, 2026 – The 6th Grade Future boys team battled their way to another championship win at the 2026 Hooptown Championships. This brings their record to 34-5 for the season and is their 6th Tournament win.

It was a “gritty” win and the boys never quit. With only 6 players available for this tournament, they had to battle until the very end, which paid off in the final seconds of the championship game against the Palouse Cougars. This brings their record to 31-4 heading into the last 2 tournaments of the season.

The Sandpoint Future 3rd Grade Boy basketball team won the Winter Freeze Basketball Tournament held at the HUB Sports Center in Liberty Lake.

The Sandpoint Future 4th Grade Girls basketball team won the Winter Freeze Basketball Tournament held Jan. 17 and 18 at the HUB Sports Center in Liberty Lake. Competing in the 3rd/4th Grade Girls division, Sandpoint defeated CBA Chelan (16-6) and FIRE (27-23) to advance directly to the championship, where they showed heart and toughness in a 15-13 victory over FIRE. The girls will be seeking their fourth straight tournament championship this upcoming weekend at the Sandpoint Future Invitational.

The Jump – hosted by Zootown 406 in Missoula, Montana – was the official opening qualifier of the MSBC Circuit.

Sandpoint Future 4th Grade Girls unbeaten at Missoula tourney

The Sandpoint Future 4th Grade Girls basketball team went an undefeated 5-0 to win the Zootown Jump tournament held Jan. 3 and 4 at the Pfahler Sport Specific Complex and DeSmet and Meadow Hill Middle School’s, all located in the Greater Missoula Area. Sandpoint Future defeated the Lady Broncs of Frenchtown twice (34-20; 34-7), Full Court 4th of Missoula twice (26-10; 27-12) and the Dillon Beavers (26-6) to capture what was their second consecutive undefeated tournament title. With the tournament victory, the team has now qualified for the Montana Middle School State Tournament, set to be held March 6 at Fergus High in Lewistown, in addition to having already qualified for the Washington Middle School State Tournament earlier this season. Head coach Karly Malone said this past weekend was a true team effort, with every player scoring, playing team defense and contributing impactful minutes.

The Sandpoint Future 4th Grade girls basketball team went an undefeated 3-0 to win the U10 division of the Clutch City Clash tournament held Dec. 6 and 7 at Garry Middle School, Glover Middle School and North Central High, all located in the Greater Spokane Area. Sandpoint defeated the Cheney Blackhawks by a score of 21-11, the Spokane Nets 15-6, and Team FIRE 21-18 to win the event and punch their ticket to the 13th annual Washington State Basketball Championships set to be held March 13 through 15 at The Podium in Spokane.
